World Relief Durham serves refugees and other immigrants that have settled in the US through a variety of programs. Durham has long supported newcomers and their families through events such as Durham Refugee Day every year in June. Join WRD's 2nd Run for Refugees 5k on 09/27/2025, we hope to welcome WRD supporters and new friends into a community of like-minded people and celebrate the diversity of backgrounds in our area.

📝 Registration Details

Early Registration (Until August 1)

• Children Registration: (under 18), T-shirt & professional timing included - $20
• Adult Registration: T-shirt & professional timing included - $30
• Shirt Deadline: Register by September 1st to receive a shirt.

🏆 Awards

First, Second and Third place custom medals will be given to the fastest in-person timed male and female runners in the following age brackets:

• 12 and Under
• 13-17 years old
• 18-35 years old
• 36-50 years old
• 51 years old +
