🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Organization: World Relief Durham serves refugees and other immigrants who have settled in the U.S. through a variety of programs.
• Community Support: Durham has long supported newcomers and their families through annual events like Durham Refugee Day, held every June.
• Event Purpose: Join us for WRD's 3rd Run for Refugees 5K on August 22, 2026! We hope to welcome WRD supporters and new friends into a community of like-minded people and celebrate the rich diversity of backgrounds in our area.
• Your Experience: This year we are excited to announce that we are partnering with small businesses and vendors at the 5k to bring some additional life to the overall event. More details will come out closer to the date of the race.

📝 Registration

• Children Age 5 and Under: Can participate with an adult for free (no t-shirt or timing included) - no registration required.
• Children Registration: $20 - Includes T-shirt & professional timing.
• Adult Registration: $30 - Includes T-shirt & professional timing.
• Note: Register by July 31 to receive a shirt.

• Early Bird Pricing: March 1 to June 15.
• Regular Pricing: June 16 to August 15.
• Week of Pricing: August 16 to August 22.
