We are thrilled for the return of the Groundhog Run this winter! Please join us February 1, 2026, for the 44th annual Groundhog Run, benefiting children with disabilities receiving services at Ability KC.

Event Details

• Date: February 1, 2026
• Location: Hunt Midwest’s SubTropolis, Kansas City, MO
• Courses: 5K, 10K, and Tunnel-to-Tunnel (5K + 10K)
• Temperature: Consistent 65 to 68 degrees

Course Features

This unique event gives athletes of all abilities the opportunity to participate in a USATF Certified 5K and 10K course, and the ideal venue for runners from all over the country to compete in the winter without battling the elements.
