We are thrilled for the return of the Groundhog Run this winter! Please join us February 1, 2026, for the 44th annual Groundhog Run, benefiting children with disabilities receiving services at Ability KC.

🏃‍♂️ Event Highlights

• Unique Opportunity: This unique event gives athletes of all abilities the opportunity to participate in the 5K, 10K, and Tunnel-to-Tunnel (5K + 10k) experiences.
• Ideal Conditions: With a consistent temperature of 65 to 68 degrees and paved underground streets.
• Certified Course: Hunt Midwest’s SubTropolis is a USATF Certified 5K and 10K course.
• Winter Competition: It’s the ideal venue for runners from all over the country to compete in the winter without battling the elements.
