🏃‍♂️ The Abominable Trail Race

The Abominable Trail Race is an exhilarating autumn trail running event held annually at LG Ziplines and Adventures in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. This race offers a unique combination of challenging terrain, team camaraderie, and festive atmosphere, making it a standout experience for runners of all levels.

📏 Race Distances

The race offers three distances: 5K, 15K and 30K. The 30K has individual and team relay options.

🏅 Finisher's Perks

• Medal: All runners receive an Abominable Finisher's Medal.
• T-Shirt: Participants will receive a Yeti Finisher's T-Shirt.
• Refreshments: Enjoy 1 Craft Beer or Hot Cider at the Finish.

🏃‍♀️ Individual Events

• Trail Adventure: Choose your favorite distance (5K | 15K | 30K) and head out on an adventure through the beautiful trails and hills at Lake Geneva Ziplines & Adventures.

👥 Team Events

• Team Formation: Create your team of 2, 3, or 4 and conquer our 30K course!
• Base Camp: Teams may bring a tent and set up in our Base Camp (festival) area. (Please let us know if you will be bringing a tent, so we can save you a spot.)

🏆 Awards

• Top Finishers: Top 3 M/F in the Individual 5K, 15K, and 30K will be awarded.

🎉 Base Camp Celebration

Hangout with friends and cheer on runners in our Base Camp. Enjoy music, games, food trucks, local craft beer, warm fire pits, and local vendors. Spectators are free.

📦 Packet Pick-Up

We will have early packet pick up Friday (11/14) from 4-6pm. Location will be announced closer to race day. Packets can also be picked up the day of the race. We recommend arriving at least an hour before your start time to get parked and through registration.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family Friendly Atmosphere

This is a family-friendly event. We'll have a live DJ in basecamp (festival area). Great local vendors, food trucks, and craft beer. Our Yeti roams around as well, so be sure to get a picture with him.

📸 Photography

We will have professional photographers on course during race day who are great at capturing amazing images of you for you to share. These are free with your registration.

🚗 Parking

Parking is at House of Music, across the street from the race location. $10 cash, per car. Please bring exact change, thank you.
