SNOW Fun Run - 5k Run/Walk/Party!

About This Event

• Event Type: Join us for the best party race of the season! This 5K event, held at the luxurious four-diamond Grand Geneva Resort & Spa, is the perfect weekend getaway for you and your running pals!
• Party Venue: The Party this year will be held in the Grand Ball Room which is located just north of the main entrance to the resort.
• Party Features: The party will include the world famous Schnapps Stop (at the end of the run), food, lots of beer and soda, DJ, dancing, dance contests and more.
• Costume Encouragement: We absolutely encourage you to dress up and be ready to party but a costume is not required (let’s keep it classy... or, you know, maybe not!). The party will close down at about 9:00 PM.

Registration

• Fee Structure: The registration fee will be $55 until 12/1. After that it will be $60 until Jan 1st when it will increase to $65.
• Guest Tickets: Is there a person who can't or does not run who wants to join the party? You can buy a guest ticket for $35. Just click on the tab "Guest Tickets."

Race History

• Inception: It all started on a balmy winter day in 1980 at the Playboy Club in beautiful Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.
• Participation: Over 1,000 runners showed up for our first-time event.
• Historic Features: The late John Jantz fired the starter’s pistol, and Playboy bunnies, in uniform, gave out the trophies!
• Tradition: Since then, the run has added many additional run and party features. Join us for the annual running of the best darn race and party in the Midwest!

Bib Pickup

• Time and Location: Bib numbers may be picked up on race day starting at 12:30 PM at the Grand Ball Room.

Awards

• Aging Categories: Awarded to the first place finishers for each age.
• Medal Distribution: Medals are awarded to the fastest male and female of EACH age (e.g., 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21,… and up)!
• Overall Winners: Awards for the overall fastest male and female winners.
• Special Recognition: And then there is the Grand, Overall, Overall, World Champion award!

Race Swag!

• Special Award: A special award will be given to all preregistered runners.
