2025 Kids Cancer Foundation 5K Walk/Run in memory of Sebastian

Race Overview

Sebastian was a courageous 9 year old who bravely battled cancer and endured more in his brief life than any one person should. Despite all the hardship he faced during his battle with cancer, Sebastian never gave up hope and showed all those who were fortunate enough to know him the true meaning of courage. He truly was a warrior, and the Kids Cancer Foundation is honored to have this 5K race named in his memory. The family’s hope is that the funds generated by this race will help other families in our community who are facing the battle against childhood cancer and will help make their journey a little easier.

Course Information

Hello participants! Thank you for signing up for the Kids Cancer Foundation 5K Walk/Run in Memory of Sebastian. The race will be a timed event that starts and finishes on the road by the water fountains with the following details:

• Starting Path: Stay on the outside of the path (red and blue section in the map) for the first half.
• Course Direction: Participants will be directed on the path behind the dog park after mile 1.25.
• Water Stop: Located at the half-way point on the course.
• Finish Line: Run along the sidewalk by the parking lot for the golf range and through the finish line.

Pre-Race and Race Day Logistics

Please note the following details for registration and race day:

• Packet Pickup: Same-day registration and packet pickup starts at 7 AM: Pre-Race Packet Pickup is October 21st - October 24th from 8 AM to 7 PM and October 25th from 8 AM to 2 PM at the Kids Cancer Center located at 246 Royal Palm Beach Blvd.
• Parking: Available on the grassy area next to the dog park: carpooling is encouraged.
• Awards: Given for overall winners, age group winners, and Largest Team.
• Fall Festival: Enjoy family fun activities and games during and after the event.
