2025 Kids Cancer Foundation 5K Walk/Run in memory of Sebastian

🏃‍♂️ Race in Memory of Sebastian

Sebastian was a courageous 9 year old who bravely battled cancer and endured more in his brief life than any one person should. Despite all the hardship he faced during his battle with cancer, Sebastian never gave up hope and showed all those who were fortunate enough to know him the true meaning of courage. He truly was a warrior, and the Kids Cancer Foundation is honored to have this 5K race named in his memory. The family’s hope is that the funds generated by this race will help other families in our community who are facing the battle against childhood cancer and will help make their journey a little easier.

📅 Event Details and Schedule

• Date: October 25, 2025
• Time: 8:00 AM
• Location: 11600 Poinciana Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, FL
• Registration: Same day registration and packet pickup starts at 7 AM
• Pre-Race Pickup: October 21-24 from 8 AM to 7 PM, and October 25 from 8 AM to 2 PM at the Kids Cancer Center, 246 Royal Palm Beach Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411

🗺️ Course Details

The race will be a timed event, starting and finishing on the road by the water fountains of Royal Palm Beach Commons Park. Please adhere to the following course guidelines:

• Starting Path: Please stay on the outside of the path (red and blue section on the map) during the first half.
• Direction: Volunteers will assist in directing participants correctly.
• Water Stop: Located at the halfway point on the road.
• Final Section: The last stretch is around the back of the park (light blue and green section on the map).

🏅 Awards and Activities

Awards will be given for overall winners, age group winners, and the Largest Team. Additionally, a Fall Festival will be held during and after the event there will be family fun activities and games. Dress up and join us in supporting the over 400 children and families battling childhood cancer in our community.
