Hawaii Kai Ultra Run - Kalama Valley 2025

🏃‍♂️ Event Details

• Date: December 20 & 21, 2025 (Saturday & Sunday), one week after the Honolulu Marathon (12/14/2025).
• Location: Kalama Valley Park, 555 Kealahou St. in Hawaii Kai near Sandy Beach.
• Parking: Street parking where available along Kealahou St.
• Bus Route: Route #23 stops at Bus Stop ID #288 across from the Check-In tent at Kealahou St. and Mokuhano St. More info: The Bus.

🏅 Race Options

• Distances: Choose from Half Marathon, 30K, Marathon, 50K, 50 Miles, 100K or 100 Miles.
• Course: 3.34-mile loop (3 loops is 10 miles) with Start/Finish in the middle of the loop.
• Route Description: Runners head mauka on Kealahou St. to turnaround, then makai towards Sandy Beach, returning to the Start/Finish tent.

⏰ Start Times

• Wave Selections: Corral selections for Half Marathon, 30K, and Marathon distances.
• Saturday Times: 6am and 7pm Wave.
• Sunday Time: 6am Wave.
• Self-Start: You can sign in with your own start time at the start/finish tent for all distances.

🌊 Hydration and Amenities

• Hydration: Water, ice, and snacks available at the Start/Finish tent.
• Environment: Please bring a reusable water receptacle to reduce waste: HKUR aims to be "cupless" in 2026.
• Restrooms: Public restrooms available 24/7 at the Start/Finish tent.
• Certificates/Shirts: Medals and stickers for finishers: HKUR 2025 Finisher shirts for purchase at registration and race day.

🎖️ Special Notes

• Prize Increase: Race price increases by $5.00 on 12/1/2025.
• Show Up Event: This is a Show Up and Sign In event with no packet pick up.
• Finishers: All participants will be awarded based on their effort: please inform us if you do not complete your registered distance.
• Hotel Rates: Special rates for HKUR runners at Queen Kapiolani Hotel. Email hawaiirunningproject@gmail.com for code.
