Hawaii Kai Ultra Run - Kalama Valley 2025

🌴 Race Overview

• Date: December 20 & 21, 2025 (Saturday & Sunday), one week after the Honolulu Marathon (12/14/2025).
• Location: Check-in and Start/Finish at Kalama Valley Park, 555 Kealahou St, Honolulu, HI.
• PARKING: Street parking available along Kealahou St.
• TRANSIT: Bus Route #23 stops at Bus Stop ID #288 across from the Check-In tent. More info: The Bus.

🏃 Race Distances

• Options: Half Marathon, 30K, Marathon, 50K, 50 Miles, 100K, or 100 Miles.
• Course: The Hawaii Kai Ultra Run KV route is a 3.34-mile loop (3 loops is 10 miles).
• Details: Runners head mauka on Kealahou St., turnaround at Kealahou St. and Ipuai St., then head makai towards Sandy Beach.

⏰ Start Times

• Corral Selections: Options available when registering for Half Marathon, 30K, and Marathon.
• Wave Starts: Saturday, 12/20/2025 - 6am and 7pm: Sunday, 12/21/2025 - 6am.
• Flexibility: You can sign in with your own start time at the start/finish tent for all distances.
• Cutoff: All distances must start by noon on Sunday, 12/21/2025 unless prior arrangements made.

💧 Hydration and Amenities

• Hydration: Water, ice, and snacks will be provided at the Start/Finish tent.
• Sustainability: Please bring a reusable water receptacle to reduce waste.
• Restrooms: Public restrooms available 24 hours at the Start/Finish tent.
• Finisher Awards: Certificates, medals, and stickers for all registered finishers: shirts available for purchase.

• Price Increase: Race prices increase by $5.00 on 12/1/2025.
• Event Type: This is a Show Up and Sign In event with no packet pickup.
• Qualification: The event is a 50 States Marathon Club qualifier.
• Completion: Let us know if you do not complete your registered distance for certificate modification.
