Anadel Speaks presents Hope in Motion!

Join Us for the Hope In Motion 5K Walk/Run!

Be part of our inaugural 5K event walking/running enjoying the breathtaking views of Dallas to raise awareness about child sexual abuse in sub-Saharan Africa and around the world. We are raising funds to educate, rescue, and support survivors.

Proceeds will help complete a shelter that will provide children with basic needs, education, and skills to rebuild their lives. We also run a Child Protection Unit—a school program that teaches kids and adults how to recognize and prevent abuse.

Your support will expand these programs to more schools and communities. Join us in making a difference!

Race Location: Trinity Skyline

Race Day Schedule: Saturday September 27th, 2025

• 6:30 am - 7:30 am: Packet Pickup
• 7:40 am: National Anthem
• 8 am: 5K
• 9 am: Awards
• 9:15 am: Course closes

🤝 Volunteer Opportunities

Help us make the event a success!

• Packet pickup: Assist participants with their packets.
• Aid station: Provide water to participants and keep the area clean.
• Course Monitor: Ensure a safe course by guiding participants.
• Cheer Team: Bring pom poms, horns, music, and signs to encourage runners.

Biggest Group Award: 10 or more to a group to receive the biggest group award!

Anyone can pick up your packet. Maximum 6 packets per pick up. Preregister on your personal device before arriving at Packet Pickup.

📅 Refund/Cancellation Policy

Cancelation Policy:

The Hope In Motion 5K event will proceed rain or shine or snow or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no refund policy.

In the event of extreme weather, the start time of this event may be delayed by up to a half hour. Past this time, the even course may be shortened or altered to protect the participants.

If conditions turn unsafe due to weather, the event may be canceled. Event changes and cancellations are at the discretion of the Race Director.

We always strive to produce a full and safe sporting event, but sometimes the weather conditions can affect those plans.

If you are unable to participate in the event, or the event is canceled, you can still receive your packet, shirt, and medal and run the race on your own time on your own course. See our virtual race information for complete details.
