Anadel Speaks presents Hope in Motion!

You are warmly invited to the very first Hope in Motion 5K, hosted by the Anadel Speaks Foundation, taking place at the breathtaking Bachman Lake Park in Dallas, Texas. Lace up your shoes and join heart-to-heart stride as we come together to stand in solidarity with children in need—especially those who’ve endured the trauma of sexual violence—and uplift communities across sub-Saharan Africa and beyond.

📍 Why Bachman Lake Park?

• Scenic Trails: With a shimmering 205-acre lake surrounded by a scenic 3–3.5 mile paved trail, Bachman Lake offers an inspiring path for runners and walkers alike.
• Natural Beauty: The park comes alive with nature’s beauty—watch playful ducks and geese, admire ancient cypress trees, and catch spectacular views of planes taking off and landing at nearby Love Field.
• Amenities: Alongside your journey, you’ll pass fitness stations, shaded benches, drinking fountains, and the park’s beloved pavilion—perfect for gathering and celebration.
• Family-Friendly: Families will feel right at home with playgrounds, picnic spots, and even a recreation center featuring an indoor pool and community space.

• Start Line: At the historic lakeside pavilion
• Finish Line: Back at the pavilion—stay for music, reflections, and refreshments

We’re excited to offer a Virtual Hope in Motion 5K for those who want to run (or walk) in support of our cause from wherever they are.

• Registration: Virtual 5K Registration: $45 Flat Rate
• Open Registration: Open Now through September 27th, 2025

📅 Race Day Schedule

Saturday, September 27th, 2025

• 7 am - 8 am: Packet Pickup
• 8:10 am: National Anthem
• 8:15 am: Interactive Warm Up
• 8:30 am: 5K
• 9:30 am: Awards
• 9:45 am: Course closes

🤝 Volunteer With Us

• Packet Pickup: Assist with registration.
• Aid Station: Provide water to participants and maintain a clean course.
• Course Monitor: Ensure participant safety by redirecting traffic and guiding runners.

Feel free to bring pom pom, horns, music, instruments, signs etc. to encourage and cheer on runners.

🏅 Awards

1st Male and 1st Female Overall.

Top 3 Male and Female for the following age groups:

• 10-19
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60-69
• 70-79

Anyone can pick up your packet. Maximum 6 packets per pickup.

🔄 Refund/Cancellation Policy

Hope In Motion 5K event will proceed rain or shine or snow or cold. For that reason, we have a strict no refund policy.

In the event of extreme weather, the start time of this event may be delayed.

If conditions turn into lightning, ice, or become unsafe, the event may be cancelled at the discretion of the Race Director.
