🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

The NFL season kicks off this weekend, and it’s also National Tailgating Day—coincidence? I think not! What better way to celebrate than with a run/walk, brews, breakfast, and your fitness pals! Don your favorite team’s colors and strut your stuff for a shot at a touchdown-worthy prize! The Rahr Brewing Company Running Club social run/walk is basically the pregame warm-up for the Oktoberfest 5K which is on Sept. 13th. Plus, we'll have early packet pick up after the social run/walk too. Think of it as a beer-fled stroll that equal parts cardio and carbs—getting you in for the ultimate mashup of fitness and festivities!

🎟️ Social Run Registration & Ticket Pricing

• Price: Purchase tickets for $35 online.
• Run/Walk: 3ish mile, self-guided run/walk (untimed).
• Includes: Three (3) free Rahr Brewing Co. draft brews (must be 21+), Rahr branded pint glass, and hot Texas Tamale breakfast.
• Benefit: The social run/walk benefits Rahr to Rescue and $5.00 of your registration goes to help them save the pups.

🗓️ Social Run/Walk Schedule

• 8:00 AM: Check in for the social run/walk
• 8:30 AM: Group start (run/walk with the group and awesome beer pacers!)
• 9:30 AM: Breakfast and social run/walk fun
• 10:00 AM: Packet pick up opens for Rahr Brewing Company Oktoberfest 5K
• 10:30 AM: Raffle giveaways + best dressed NFL fan prize
• 11:00 AM: Last call
• 11:30 AM: Social run/walk ends
• 1:00 PM: Packet pick up closes for the Rahr Brewing Company Oktoberfest 5K

⚠️ Social Run/Walk Notes & Tips

• All levels: All levels and paces are welcome. This event is untimed & always an awesome time! We are always rain or shine!
• Online registration: We are cashless and paperless: all registrations are done online.
• Pets: Dogs are allowed at Flying Saucer on the patio. Dogs must have tags, be on a leash, and are only allowed on the patio.
• Register: Sign up online for $35, no refunds or transfers: once you are registered, you are registered!
• ID required: Bring your ID!
• Kids: Kids in strollers are always welcome and are always free.
