36th Annual Midnight Madness Run

Looking to get one last run in before we say goodbye to 2025? Want to be able to say you did Phoenix's first 5K of 2026?

StartLine Racing is honored to continue a true Phoenix area tradition by hosting the 36th Annual Midnight Madness run as we celebrate the end of 2025 and the start of a new race year!

This year's event will feature the final race of 2025 on December 31st at 10:30pm and the first race of 2026 with a run on January 1st at 12:10am with a New Year's Celebration and Sparkling Cider toast in between.

• Date: December 31, 2025
• Location: 6111 S All America Way, Tempe, AZ
• Final Race: 10:30 PM
• First Race: 12:10 AM on January 1, 2026

✉️ Registration Information

• Mail-in Registration: Please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form.
• Virtual Registration: Participants can register virtually to run remotely and receive medals and swag.
• Shipping: All items will be shipped after the completion of the event on January 1st.

🏅 What You Get!

• Custom Medal: Finishers receive a medal, with dual medals for participants in both events.
• T-Shirt: Event Tech LONG SLEEVE Hooded T-Shirt for participants.
• Awards: Top three in each age group will receive awards (for race day participants only).
• Toast: Sparkling Cider Toast at Midnight.

🕒 Race Day Information

• Registration Opens: 9 PM on race day.
• Costs: Double Down - $70: Final of 2024/First of 2025 - $50.
• Pet Friendly: Leashed pets are welcome!
• Weather Policy: No refunds due to inclement weather.

📦 Packet Pick-Up Opportunities

• Date 1: December 30, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Road Runner Sports in Tempe.
• Date 2: December 31, 2025, starting at 9:00 PM at Kiwanis Park - South Entrance.

🗓️ Event Schedule

• December 30, 2025: Packet pick-up at Road Runner Sports (3:00 PM - 6:00 PM).
• December 31, 2025: Race Day Packet Pick-up and Registration Opens (9:00 PM).
• December 31, 2025: Final 5K Begins (10:30 PM).
• January 1, 2026: First 5K Begins (12:10 AM).
