36th Annual Midnight Madness Run

Looking to get one last run in before we say goodbye to 2025? Want to be able to say you did Phoenix's first 5K of 2026?

StartLine Racing is honored to continue a true Phoenix area tradition by hosting the 36th Annual Midnight Madness run as we celebrate the end of 2025 and the start of a new race year!

This year's event will feature the final race of 2025 on December 31st at 10:30pm and the first race of 2026 with a run on January 1st at 12:10am with a New Year's Celebration and Sparkling Cider toast in between.

To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form! Please make checks payable to StartLine Racing.

💻 Virtual Registration

• Participation: We understand plans change: however, you can still earn both medals and a long sleeve pullover.
• Shipping: All prices include shipping, and items will be shipped after the completion of the event on January 1st.
• Email: Virtual participants will receive an email with instructions on how to submit your time.
• Location Restriction: Virtual Registrations are restricted to US addresses only: contact StartLine Racing at info@startlineracing.com for assistance if outside the US.

🏅 What You Get!

• Medal: Custom Event Finisher's Medal: participants in both events receive 2 separate medals that fit together to form one large medal.
• T-Shirt: Custom Event Tech LONG SLEEVE Hooded T-Shirt.
• Awards: Age Group Awards for Top Three in all Age Groups (Race day participants only).
• Toast: Sparkling Cider Toast at Midnight.

🗓️ Race Day Information

• Registration: Opens at 9pm on race day: costs are $70 for Double Down, $50 for Final of 2024/First of 2025.
• Payment: Credit, cash, and check are accepted on race day.
• Pet-Friendly: Leashed pets are welcome!
• Refund Policy: No refunds due to inclement weather.

🏁 Packet Pick-Up Opportunities

• Date: Tuesday, December 30th from 3:00 - 6:00pm at Road Runner Sports - Tempe.
• Location: Road Runner Sports, 43 S McClintock Drive, Tempe, AZ 85281 (map).
• Additional pick-up: Wednesday, December 31st at Kiwanis Park - South Entrance starting at 9:00pm.

🗺️ Event Schedule

• December 30: Packet Pick-up at Road Runner Sports from 3-6pm.
• December 31: Race Day Packet Pick-up and Registration Opens at 9:00 PM.
• December 31: Final 5K Begins at 10:30 PM.
• January 1: First 5K Begins at 12:10 AM.
