The 9th Annual Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, in celebration of World Ostomy Day weekend. Join us at the beautiful Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park in Meridian, Idaho. All proceeds benefit the United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc (UOAA) charity, a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax-deductible. The Registration Fee of $30.00 includes a unisex adult or youth size T-Shirt and Bib. Please note there are a limited number of T-Shirt sizes now available. So don’t delay, register today to order the T-Shirt size you’d like to wear at the event.
This 5k Fun Run will be held at the Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park, Shelter A at 1900 N Records Ave in Meridian. The exact route map will be included in your registration packets and posted in the registration area.
The Julius M. Kleiner Memorial Park is a 58-acre regional park established in 2012. The park includes many amenities such as an Amphitheatre, Basketball courts, Bike Racks, Bocce Ball, a Community Garden, and much more.
There is ample free parking available.

Prizes will be awarded to the top Male and top Female, the top Male and Female Ostomates.
Race registration bags will have typical race/sponsor promotional items, ostomy education materials, and an ostomy pouch provided by our sponsors. We encourage non-ostomate participants to wear the pouch during the race to improve awareness and empathy for the challenges faced by people living with ostomies.
Once you’ve registered, you have the option to CREATE a new RACE GROUP/TEAM or to JOIN one that’s already established. This is a great way to engage your community in the Run and compete against each other. Invite family, friends, and co-workers to register and celebrate the day with you!
Raise $100 or more and your Registration Fee will be refunded! Fundraising is crucial for the Run for Resilience Ostomy 5K. Funds help UOAA continue to provide resources and support to the ostomy community.
We invite you to set up your own Personal or Team Fundraiser when registering to participate, or through our DONATE button on the page.
Empower: $225+ in fundraising individually or as a Team Captain. Champion: $425+ in fundraising individually or as a Team Captain. The Champion level fundraisers will also receive the Empower level fundraising award.
