• Certification: USATF Certified
• Type: Loop course
• Start/Finish: Begins and ends at the west parking lot
• Route: On Cherokee Boulevard

Packet Pick Up

• Timing: Day of race
• Hours: 6:15 am - 7:45 am

Registration & Entry Fee

• Early Bird: Pricing until January 31 - $30
• Registration Period: February 1 - April 8 - $35
• Late Registration: April 9 - April 26 - $40
• Race Day: Registration - $45

T-shirts

• Type: Unisex sized t-shirts for registrants
• Distribution: Pre-registered runners will receive at early packet pick up or on race day
• Shirt Policy: Registrants after April 21 will receive shirts while supplies last
• Environment: Option to skip the shirt and support tree planting

Awards

• Categories: Top 3 Overall, age groups, and specialty categories
• Masters: Fastest person age 40 and above
• Grandmasters: Fastest person age 50 and above
• Senior Grandmasters: Fastest person age 60 and above

Grand Prix Points Team Competition

• Schedule: Dogwood Classic on 2026 Team Competition calendar
• Accrual: Points awarded to winners in various categories
• Recognition: KTC recognizes top 10 men and women in Grand Prix series
• Eligibility: Must be a KTC member and volunteer for 3 races

Post Race Refreshments

• Availability: Assorted refreshments provided post-race
• Location: In the event tent

Race Etiquette

• Restrictions: Roller blades, strollers, bicycles, and dogs are not allowed on the course
• Time Limit: 5K course closes in 1 hour and 15 minutes
• Headphones: KTC discourages their use at events
