- Beneficiary: This 5K Run will benefit the Tennessee Picnic in honor of the late Dr. Dennis Branch.
- Legacy: Dr. Branch was a prominent African American Physician in Newport TN for nearly 50 years.
- Acknowledgment: He became nationally known as a guest of honor on the Ralph Edwards Television Show "This Is Your Life" in 1958.
- Passing: Dr. Branch passed away in 1964 at the age of 77, leaving a lasting legacy.
