Dollywood's Light The Way 5k

🎄 Race Overview

There is nothing quite like Dollywood at Christmas. Experience a nighttime run in the nation’s most beautiful holiday park during the Smoky Mountain Christmas festival by registering for the 13th annual Light the Way 5K! This year’s event will take place on Friday, November 7 beginning at 11 p.m. We are excited to announce that this year’s race is being facilitated by the Knoxville Track Club (ktc.org). KTC will chip-time the event and work with the event team to provide runners with the best experience possible.

🏃‍♀️ Course Details

• New Certification: The 2024 event course was re-certified to provide the best race experience.
• Streamlined Route: Will start in a different location to eliminate the need for a second loop in the park.
• Off-Park Segment: More than half of the course will use Dollywood's tram road and finish through the park's 6 million Christmas lights.
• No Walkers: Only runners should sign up for the 5K: walkers are encouraged to join the 1-mile fun walk.

🏅 Awards and Medals

Light the Way 5K aims to provide runners with an unforgettable race. The 2025 race course will take participants throughout Dollywood and their over 6 million Christmas lights! NO STROLLERS ALLOWED!!!

• Commemorative Medal: Each participant will receive a medal at the finish line.
• Awards: Presented to the top three overall finishers and the top three finishers for men and women.
• On-Site Collection: Awards will not be mailed: you must be present to receive your award.

📝 Registration Information

• Participant Limit: Participation is limited to 1,500 runners.
• Online Registration: Encouraged for all participants.
• Fee Structure: Registration is $45 until August 31 and $50 from September 1 until November 8.
