2025 Red Moon Trail Run presented by Bayne's Apple Valley

🌕 Welcome to the Red Moon Trail Run!

Dig Deep Race Events along with Bayne’s Apple Valley, Jolt Credit Union, Midland Sports Rehab and Runners Athletic Company are inviting everyone back to the 9th annual Red Moon Trail Run!

🏁 The Race

• Location: Midland City Forest in Midland, MI – same site as the popular Snow Moon Trail Run.
• Course: Runners will embark on a 5k, 10k or 25k race along wide trails marked by small LED lights as guides.
• Finish Times: Runners completing multiple laps will have split times at the 5k finish arch until they finish their events.
• Daytime Option: A daytime 5K is available for those who’d like to see the course in daylight.

💖 Charity Commitment

This year, a portion of the proceeds from this race will be donated to the Great Lakes Bay Veterans Coalition in their mission to help service members, veterans and their families in the Great Lakes Bay region.

Event Start Times*:

• Packet pickup will begin at 5PM on race day and will close at 9:00PM.
• DAYTIME 5K: 6PM
• NIGHT TIME 25K: 8:15PM (NEW START TIME!)
• NIGHT TIME 10K: 8:45PM
• NIGHT TIME 5K: 9:15PM

*Start times are adjusted for optimal scheduling based on feedback.

📦 Packet Pickup and Late Registration

• Saturday, August 9 from 5:00PM - 9:00PM in the field below the sled hill located at Midland City Forest’s Monroe Parking Lot.

🌄 Course Description*

The Red Moon Run will take place in Midland’s City Forest on flat, wide-track trails and mountain bike trails. The night course will be marked with small LED lights. Runners will have options for 1, 2, or 5 lap choices.
*Please note the course has changed slightly from the Snow Moon Course.

🎖️ Amenities

• All participants receive a 3” finisher medal, FREE online race photos, custom race bib, and professional chip timing.
• Cold adult beverages will be provided (must be 21+ with ID).
• Opting out of shirts will save $5 on registration fees.
• Shirt sizes include Unisex and Ladies Cut options available in various sizes.

• Top 3 Overall Fastest 5k Male & Female for Day and Night races.
• Top 3 Overall Fastest 10k Male & Female for Night race.
• Top 3 Overall Fastest 25k Male & Female.

*All Awards will be determined based on GUN START times.
