Rachel & Friends 5k

🏃‍♀️ About the Race

• Organization: Rachel & Friends is a non-profit organization that works with adults with developmental disabilities.
• Community Engagement: The purpose of this race is to empower the community to see the amazing individuals around us with Down Syndrome, Autism or other challenges and embrace the beauty in all of us.
• Race Distances: The event offers two race distances, 5k or 1 mile. Choose whatever is best for you!
• Fun Run: There is also a free fun run for the kids before the start of the 5k and 1-Mile races. All kids will receive a ribbon when they finish the fun run.

🕒 Registration Details

• Online Registration Deadline: The online registration deadline, to receive a shirt at the 5k is October 1, 2025.
• Late Registration: Those who register online, or in person, after this deadline, may not receive a shirt at the 5k.
• In-Person Registration: In-person registration will be available on the day of the event at 8:00am.
• Packet Pickup: Packet Pick up will occur on October 17, 2025 from 3p-7p at 1700 Lyons Road, Suite A2—A New You Total Wellness.

🏆 Awards & Prizes

• Awards Distribution: Awards will be handed out per age category at the end of the race.
• Overall Winners: $100 gift card will be handed out to the overall male and female runners.
• Age Group Awards: Awards for the Top Male/Female per age group (0-11, 12-18, 19-39, 40-59, 60 and up).
• 1st Place Prizes: 1st Place Male - $100 Gift Card: 1st Place Female - $100 Gift Card.
