🏢 About Riverside Coffee

Riverside Coffee is more than a coffee shop: they are a dual enlistment facility focused on educating and supporting 21+ aged individuals with intellectual and social disabilities invaluable Life, Vocational and Social skills. These essential components are needed for earning and maintaining positions of employment when integrating individuals from students to working adults. Riverside is a 501c-3 ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) organization and is hosting this inaugural foot race to fundraise for their annual operational budget after learning their government funding would cease after 2025.

🚗 Parking

• Location: Parking will be available from .
• Assistance: Attendants will assist in directing traffic to available lots.

📦 Packet Pick Up

• Timing: Pick up will be day of event only ending 30 minutes before the race is set to start.
• Items: T-shirts and other giveaways will be available to all participants along with their respective race Bib.
• Location: Pick up will be at the Shelter near start/finish & Restrooms (see map for specific details).

🏁 Course Description

The course will start from the Coffee shop on Harrison Lane and will head out a quarter mile towards Bob Leonard Park. Runners will run 3 loops: one clockwise around the outer perimeter path, one counterclockwise around the inner path, and clockwise again around the outer path before returning back to the coffee shop to finish. The course will be 100% paved utilizing asphalt and sidewalk surfaces.

🎉 Post Race Celebration

After the race, hang around to visit with local vendors and grab a warm drink inside as the festivities continue. Keep your ears open for raffle giveaways as well!

🏆 Awards

Awards will be given to top Male & Females in the 5K event. Age Group winners will be awarded to the top runner per category: 20 & Under, 20-39, 40-59, 60+. Awards will be presented after 75% of the field has completed the event.
