The excitement returns to Ohio, and this year, we’re taking it to the gorgeous Brookside Valley Park in the Cleveland Metroparks Brookside Reservation! Join us on Saturday, October 3, 2026, for an inspiring day of movement, resilience, and community in celebration of World Ostomy Day. All proceeds benefit the United Ostomy Associations of America, Inc. (UOAA), a 501(c)(3) organization. Donations are tax deductible (www.ostomy.org).
RACE DAY SCHEDULE
- Packet Pick-Up: 11:00 AM – Packet Pick-Up & Same-Day Registration Opens
- Exhibitor Fair: 11:00 AM – Exhibitor Fair Opens – Explore local resources, giveaways, and ostomy-friendly partners
- 5K Walk/Run: 12:00 PM – 5K Walk/Run Begins – Let’s hit the course together in support of ostomy awareness!
- Finish Line Festivities: 12–2:00 PM – Cheer on participants, Awards Ceremony & Social Time with light refreshments and community connections
REGISTRATION
DON'T DELAY, REGISTER TODAY! We cannot guarantee size and availability of the 2026 World Ostomy Day & Run for Resilience Ostomy 5k T-shirts after Wednesday, September 4th!
The Registration Fee includes a unisex adult or youth size T-Shirt, Bib with timing chip, and runner "swag" bag. So don't delay, register today to guarantee availability in your t-shirt size. We cannot guarantee shirt sizes or availability to those who register after September 4th!

CREATE OR JOIN A RACE GROUP/TEAM!
Once you’ve registered, you have the option to CREATE a new RACE GROUP/TEAM or to JOIN one that’s already been established. This is a great way to get others in your community to Register to Participate in the Run and compete against each other. Invite family, friends, co-workers to Register, pick to be on your Race Group/Team (or start their own), order their T-Shirt & Bib and celebrate the day with you! (Please note this is NOT a Team Fundraiser. To set up a Personal or Team Fundraiser, please go to the DONATE button.)
FUNDRAISING
- Fundraising Goal: Raise $125 or more and your Registration Fee will be refunded!
- Fundraising Importance: Funds raised help UOAA continue to provide resources, educational materials, advocacy and support to the ostomy and continent diversion community.
- Personal Fundraiser: You can create a unique Fundraiser Name and URL address, personalize your fundraising message, and direct your friends and family to your page to join your team or sponsor you in your fundraising goal.
- Fundraising Through Registration: Set up your own Personal or Team Fundraiser when registering to participate in the event.
FUNDRAISING INCENTIVES
Empower: $225+ in fundraising individually or as a Team Captain. Fundraising award: TBD
Champion: $425+ in fundraising individually or as a Team Captain. Fundraising award: TBD
The Champion level fundraisers will also receive the Empower level fundraising award.

RUN REFERRAL PROGRAM
Invite 5 other people to register and participate in the Run with you and you will be refunded $20 on YOUR registration! Simply share your unique referral link found on your registration confirmation page (email) "Remember to invite your friends with your special URL https:// ...". The referral program is valid for all in-person run locations and the virtual event so even if they cannot join you where you are, they can still celebrate from afar!
