2025 Davidson Turkey Trot

🦃 Event Overview

Join us on Thanksgiving morning at the Annual Davidson Turkey Trot - Davidson's Thanksgiving tradition for all. The 5k course winds through beautiful downtown Davidson. Bring the whole family out for this fun, family-friendly event benefitting non-profits in Davidson and beyond.

⚠️ Registration Information

• Reminder: All children and adults planning on receiving a timing bib and an official race time must register and pay the full race fee.
• Children under 8: Not planning to receive a timing bib will not need to register and may run at leisure.
• T-Shirt Guarantee: Must register by November 1, 2025 and pick-up their t-shirts at packet pick-up to guarantee a shirt.
• Post-Race: T-shirts will NOT be available for pick-up after the start of the race.

⏰ Race-Day Details

• Registration Closure: Race-Day Registration, Bib Assignments, and Packet Pick-Up closes strictly at 7:45 AM.
• Post-Race Options: We will not be able to provide mailing or additional pick-up options post-race.

🏆 Awards

The participants will be categorized in age groups based on final registration numbers. Top three runners in the male and female categories as well as category finalists will receive prizes. Awards will be announced soon after the top finisher times have been assessed and the winners are identified.

📏 Course Details

This race course is marked with cones, and there will be course monitors to help guide participants along the 5K route. The race will be timed by a professional timing company and results will be posted online here at Runsignup.com.

🍩 Refreshments

Donuts, fruit, water, and coffee will be available on the Davidson Village Green: quantities are limited.

🚻 Restroom Facilities

Portable Restrooms will be available on the Green along Concord Road.

🕒 Event Conclusion

Event concludes once all runners have completed the race, usually by 10:30 AM.
