Remington's Celebration 5K

🏃‍♂️ Race Details

• Date: August 18, 2025
• Location: 320 N Main Street, Slippery Rock, PA
• Registration: Starts at 6pm at the Rotary Pavilion in the Slippery Rock Parks and Recreation area
• Race Start: 7 pm

🎉 Celebration of Remmy

• Event Purpose: Join Remington in celebrating his first 5K (3.1 miles) post surgery!!!!!
• Incident: Remmy was riding in my Jeep Wrangler heading to Moraine State Park when my Jeep hit a bump in the road and tossed him out the window.
• Recovery: He was rushed to Ohio State University for emergency surgery and discharged Tuesday May 13th.
• Fundraiser: This is a fundraiser to help offset the expensive vet bills following his surgery.

🐾 Join Us

• Participation: We hope you are able to join us in either running or walking the event or doing a little bit of both.
• Dogs Welcome: Friendly dogs are welcome to run/walk with owners on leashes along the course.
• Responsibilities: Please be sure to be courteous in picking up after your pup.
• Registration: Bring your pup's proof of rabies vaccination to registration.
