Team FTC Kids Track Meet

🎉 Welcome to the Team FTC Kids Track Meet!

FREE Youth Track Meet hosted by TEAM FTC KIDS!

Join us for a fun-filled evening of racing, games, and community at the TEAM FTC KIDS Youth Track Meet! This event is completely FREE and open to all youth ages 5–14 — no experience necessary!

This event also celebrates the upcoming August launch of our new youth running club — TEAM FTC KIDS! Our club will offer structured practices, age-appropriate training, and year-round support for young athletes who want to grow in the sports of cross country and track! More information will be provided at the meet.

Whether your child is trying track for the first time or loves to run, this is a great way to stay active, build confidence, and meet other young athletes in a supportive, inclusive environment.

• Date: Friday, June 27, 2025
• Time: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM
• Location: Kiwanis Challenge Park - 2062 NW 36th Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32605
• Cost: FREE!

🏃‍♂️ Events Offered

The first race will start at 6:00 PM.

• 400m Run
• 4x100m Relay (teams formed at the event)
• 50m Dash (ages 5–6)
• 100m Dash (ages 7+)
• 1600m (Mile Run)
• 4x400m Relay (teams formed at the event)

Event selections will be made at check-in, so kids can decide to race as little or as much as they would like! After the final race, we’ll also host a few fun games and light-hearted activities.

💧 Extra Info

• Hydration: Water will be available throughout the event to keep all participants refreshed, but bringing your own hydration is highly encouraged.
• Guardian Requirement: A parent or responsible adult must be present at the event with each participant.
• Supervision: While we will help organize and supervise the races, guardians are responsible for the overall supervision and safety of their children throughout the event.
• Weather Policy: This is an outdoor event and may be postponed or canceled in the event of lightning or other severe weather conditions. Any updates will be communicated via the email address provided during registration.
