2025 Key City Foundation Oktoberfest 5K Fun Run

🎉 Event Overview

• Date: Saturday, October 4, 2025
• Location: Baker Park, starting line on 2nd street near the bandshell, Frederick, MD
• Time: Run starts at 10:30am, registration opens at 8:30am

👟 Race Highlights

• Costumes: Bonus points for those brave enough to wear a costume!
• Fun Zone: Enjoy the Family Fun Zone during and after the event.
• After Party: Join us at Prospect Point brewery for some fun post-race.
• Proceeds: Support Key City Foundation's youth sports initiatives, including free sports skills clinics and youth lacrosse.

📋 Registration Info

• Front Line Worker Discount: Special rates available for military personnel, healthcare workers, teachers, and first responders until race day.
• Kids Registration: Kids 10 and under can register for free for the 5K and 1M, with an option to purchase a commemorative race tee shirt.
• Access: All race registrants will have access to the Family Fun Zone!
• Medals: Awards for overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers in both the 5K and 1M.

🏅 Awards

• 5K Age Categories: Medals for 1st place male and female finishers in categories: 10 and under: 11-20 years: 21-35 years: 36-49 years: 50-64 years: 65+ years: oldest finisher.
• 1M Medals: Additional medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers in the 1M for 10 and under.
• Strollers: Running strollers are welcome at the event.
• Dogs: Dogs are welcome to accompany runners: please be prepared to pick up after them.
