2025 Key City Foundation Oktoberfest 5K Fun Run

🎉 Event Overview

• Date: Saturday, October 4, 2025
• Location: Baker Park, starting line on 2nd street near the bandshell, Frederick, MD
• Time: Run starts at 10:30 AM: registration opens at 8:30 AM
• Bonus: Costume encouraged for added fun!

🏃‍♂️ Participation Details

• Activities: Join us for running or walking, and enjoy the Family Fun Zone!
• After Party: Check out Prospect Point brewery!
• Proceeds: Support Key City Foundation youth sports initiatives, including free sports skills clinics and youth lacrosse programming.
• Support: A portion of proceeds will be donated to a nonprofit partner.

📋 Registration Information

• Discount: Front line workers (military, healthcare, teachers, first responders) can take advantage of a special rate available until race day!
• Kids Registration: Children 10 and under can register for free for both the 5K and 1M events.
• Family Fun Zone: All race registrants will have access!
• Medals: Awards for top finishers in various categories for both 5K and 1M events.

🏅 Award Categories

• 5K Medals: Overall 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place for male and female finishers.
• Additional Age Categories: 10 and under: 11-20 years: 21-35 years: 36-49 years: 50-64 years: 65+ years: oldest finisher.
• 1M Medals: Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers for kids 10 and under.
• Strollers: Running strollers are welcome to participate.
• Dogs: Dogs are welcome to accompany runners: waste cleanup is required.
