- Location: Baker Park, starting line on 2nd street near the bandshell, Frederick, MD.
- Time: Run starts at 10:30 am: registration opens at 8:30 am.
- Costume Bonus: Bonus points for those runners brave enough to wear a costume!
🏃♀️ Event Details
- Family Fun: Come run (or walk) with us and enjoy the Family Fun Zone.
- After Party: Check out Prospect Point brewery for the after party.
- Proceeds: Proceeds will help fund ongoing Key City Foundation youth sports initiatives, like free sports skills clinics and our youth lacrosse program.
- Partnership: A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to a nonprofit partner.
📋 Registration Information
- Front Line Worker Discount: A special discount is available for military personnel, healthcare workers, teachers, and first responders until race day!
- Kids Free Registration: Kids 10 and under can register for free for the 5K and 1M: a commemorative race tee shirt can be purchased when registering them.
- Fun Zone Access: All race registrants will have access to the Family Fun Zone!
- Medals: Awards for overall 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers for the 5K and the 1M.
🏅 Awards & Categories
- Additional Medals: 1st place for age categories in the 5K: 10 and under: 11-20 years: 21-35 years: 36-49 years: 50-64 years: 65+ years: oldest finisher.
- 1M Awards: Additional medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place male and female finishers for the 1M (10 and under).
- Strollers: Running strollers are welcome.
- Dogs Welcome: Dogs are welcome to accompany runners: please pick up after them as per city laws.
