Event Overview

• Fundraising: The largest fundraising event of the year for the Optimist Club of Perdido Bay (Lillian, Alabama).
• In-Person: This year will be held in-person, starting and finishing at the Lillian Recreation Park.
• Certification: The race distance has been certified.
• Registration: Same day race registration is available up to race time.

Registration Fees

• Advance Registration: $30 before August 25th.
• Late Registration: $35 from August 25th through the day of the race.
• Tee Shirt: Guaranteed for those registering prior to August 25th at noon.
• Post-Race Tee Shirt: Those registering after the cut-off will receive their tee shirt in the mail.

Awards

• Overall: Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Men & Women.
• Age Groups: 1st top man and woman masters (40+), grands (50+), and senior grand masters (60+).
• Finishers: Awards for top male and female finisher overall, plus age group finishers from 9 & under to 80 & over.
• Wheelchair: Awards for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place Men & Women 5K Wheelchair finishers.

Walker Awards

• Overall Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place men and women finishers.
• Age Groups: Top three men and women in each age group: 12 & under: 13 - 20: 21 - 34: 35 - 49: 50-64: 65 & above.

Course Details

• Course Type: Rolling, rural (paved & dirt) roads in Lillian, Alabama.
• Support: Aid EMT truck will be present.
• Food: Breakfast and lunch are available for purchase on-site at the event.
