Event Overview

The 13th Annual Center Education Foundation 5K and 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk is Saturday, October 10, 2026! Once again, all funds raised will support Center Education Foundation's mission of ending student homelessness and enhancing educational opportunities for all students and staff in the Center School District. Our event will start and finish at the South Kansas City Block Party at Red Bridge Shopping Center.

Finish Line Festival

• Live Music: Enjoy performances throughout the day.
• Vendor Fair: Explore a huge selection of local vendors.
• Kids' Zone: Fun activities for children of all ages.
• Classic Car Show: A showcase of classic automobiles to admire.

Participation Details

• Free Participation: All current Center School District students may participate free of charge.
• Race T-Shirt: All paid registrants are guaranteed a race t-shirt.
• Student T-Shirts: All students who complete the event will be given a race t-shirt free of charge!
• Packet Pick-Up: Packet pickup times will be announced prior to the race.

Packet Pick-Up Information

Packets will also be available for pickup prior to race start 8am-8:45am at the starting line (inside Red Bridge Shopping Center just south of Tanners).
