Brightstar Downtown 5K

🏁 RACE INFORMATION

Date: Sunday, September 13, 2026.
Downtown 5K start time: 10:00 a.m.
Youth races start time: 9:00 a.m.

There will be two youth races for boys and two races for girls for ages 1 to 5 (100 yards) and ages 6 to 10 (1/4 mile).
Start location: Memorial Blvd, Providence, Rhode Island.

Chip timing: Yes.
T-shirts: For all entrants.

Safety rules: For safety reasons, please follow these rules. No pets allowed. Baby strollers are allowed for walkers only. Walkers will line up at the back for the start of the 5k. Thank you.

• 4/1/2026 to 7/31/2026: $36
• 8/1/2026 to 9/12/2026: $38
• Race day fee: $45

Youth races presented by Providence Country Day School.

• 4/1/2026 to 7/31/2026: $16
• 8/1/2026 to 9/12/2026: $17
• Race weekend: $20

Online entries close 9/12/2026 at 8:00 p.m. Sorry no refunds.

We encourage everyone who is able to pick up their race number before race day to make for a stress-free race morning!

Pre-Race Packet Pickup

• Friday, September 11th, 2026: noon to 6:00 p.m. at Marathon Sports, Providence Place, Level One, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI
• Saturday, September 12th, 2026: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Marathon Sports, Providence Place, Level One, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI
• Race Day, Sunday, September 13th: 8:30 a.m. at Marathon Sports, Providence Place, Level One, 1 Providence Place, Providence, RI

Youth races start at 9:00 a.m.
5K starts at 10:00 a.m.

Prize Structure 5K
Individual Awards:

• Top 3: Overall Women/Men/Non-Binary
• Winner categories: Men/Women in various age groups.
• Overall awards: Based on "Gun Time".
• Age Group awards: Based on "Chip Time".

TEAMS:

• Family and Friends: Unlimited team entries. Top 3 times score. Award to winning Team.
• Corporate teams: Unlimited team entries. Top 3 times score. Award to winning Team.
• Entry fee: Same as individual fees.
• Team entries: Must use online system for entries.
