🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

The Samuel Lomax Foundation, Inc. together with the Cedar – Morris Hill Community invite you to join our 5th Annual Cancer Awareness 5K Run/Walk in honor of (?????).

This is our continued effort in spreading awareness and raising money in support of a worthy cause. There are over 100 types of cancer and at least one-third of cancer diagnoses are preventable through healthy lifestyle changes. Whether you are a casual runner/walker, competitive runner, cancer fighter, cancer survivor or simply want to support the cause, your participation in this event and a portion of the proceeds will help benefit local charitable organizations and spread the word about cancer prevention.

• Date: Sunday, September 21
• Time: 10:30 AM

💰 Cost

• Early-bird registration: $25 (includes race t-shirt and participant medal) open until 11:59PM on August 20th
• Late registration: $25 (DOES NOT include race t-shirt or participant medal) starts August 17th and open until 8:00AM, the morning of the race.

💖 Donation

If you're unable to participate in the event, but would like to contribute towards the cause, feel free to make a donation by clicking the "Donate" button. Please note: donations also DO NOT include a race t-shirt or participant medal. If you would like to receive a race t-shirt and medal, you must sign-up as a participant prior to the August 20th deadline.

• Saturday: September 20th 1PM - 2:30PM

🏁 Race Day

CHECK-IN FROM 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
5K RUN/WALK STARTS PROMPTLY AT 10:30 AM

If you are not at the Morris Hill Recreation Center before 9:30 AM, please enter the neighborhood from the "Warfield Rd and Morris Hill Ave" entrance.
Arundel Corporation Rd will be shut down for this event from 10:30 AM – 12:30 AM.
