🏃‍♀️ Event Overview

The Cove School will hold its 14th annual 5K Community Walk/Run on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at the beautiful Independence Grove Forest Preserve in Libertyville, IL. Come individually or create a team of friends and family to race, then celebrate with refreshments at the Finish Line.

🤝 Volunteer Information

• Volunteers Needed: Volunteers of all ages are needed! Arrive by 7:30 AM day-of.
• Community Service: Teens will receive community service hours.

💵 Race Fees

• $40.00: Early Bird Special through July 31st
• $45.00: August 1st through September 5th
• $50.00: Day of Race
• $25.00: Kids under 18 (Age Based Pricing)
• $25.00: Cove Staff (please email Emma Jones at ejones@coveschool.org for discount code)

📅 Race Day Agenda

• 7:30 AM: Day-of registration and race bag pick-up opens: closes at 8:30 AM
• 8:50 AM: Warm-up
• 9:00 AM: Walk/Run starts
• 10:00 AM: Awards ceremony and bagel breakfast
