Tom Schreiber Memorial 5K and 1 Mile

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

The Tom Schreiber Memorial 5K and 1 Mile celebrates Tom's lasting impact on the lives he touched. Tom served as the track and cross-country coach for over twenty years, first at Alliance High School (Alliance, OH) and then at Valley Forge High School in Parma Heights, Ohio. The proceeds from this event will be used to create a scholarship in Tom's name and be awarded to a senior track or cross-country runner from the Parma City School District.

📏 Event Details

• Date: 2026-07-18
• Location: 11828 West Pleasant Valley, Parma, OH
• Chip-Timed: The 5K and 1-mile events will each be chip-timed.
• Participation: Runners and walkers of all levels are welcome to participate.

🏅 Course Information

• 5K Course: The 5K course will feature split points at every mile and live participant tracking via RTRT.
• 1-Mile Course: The 1-mile course features a split at the half-mile mark.
• Ice Cream Treat: All runners will be treated to ice cream at the finish line - Tom's absolute favorite food!
