Explore the Cross Country Short Track course during USA Cycling's Endurance Mountain Bike National Championships!

🏃‍♀️ Who Can Join?

• Cyclists: Do you usually find yourself on two wheels?
• Curious Runners: Are you just a bit RUN-CURIOUS?
• New Movers: Are you ready to start moving but not sure where to start?
• Fun Seekers: Do you simply want to have a great time in Roanoke?

🔄 How It Works

• Course: The course is a 1K loop on the same ground used for the US Cycling MTB Championship.
• Duration: You’ll have 30 minutes to complete as many laps as you can.
• Format: Go solo or grab a friend and run it relay-style, trading off each lap.
• Costumes: Biker-themed costumes are encouraged! Bonus points (and prizes!) for the most creative looks.

🚦 Why We're Running

This event isn’t just about fun (though there’s plenty of that). It’s about bringing runners and bikers together in a show of support for safer, shared streets. Pedal Safe, an advocacy group dedicated to protecting bikers, runners, and walkers through education, awareness, and community action. Together, we’re supporting Roanoke’s Vision Zero initiative, which aims to eliminate traffic fatalities and create safer, more inclusive streets. Let’s raise awareness for pedestrian and cyclist safety—and have a blast doing it.
