Welcome to the Tartan 5K, A Twilight Run, a celebration of health, happiness, and community! This race is sponsored by Radford University in Roanoke. As a health science campus, this event aims to provide support in celebrating both current and future healthcare professionals.

• Date: September 18, 2026
• Location: 210 Reserve Ave SW, Roanoke, VA
• Time: Pre-race party starts at 5:30 PM!
• Who: Runners, walkers, strollers, and dogs of all ages are welcome!

• Spirit of the Tartan: Embrace the spirit as you dash through the Roanoke Greenway.
• Costume Options: Run in scrubs to honor healthcare, or wear a kilt to show Highlander pride.
• Chip-Timed: This race is chip-timed.
• Discounts: Available for Radford University students, faculty, staff, alumni, and current healthcare workers.

🏆 Award Groups

• Categories: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Male and Female in runners at 18-30, 30-50 (Masters), and 50+ (Grandmasters).
• Special Award: Highlander Tartan Spirit Award.
• Recognition: Youngest and oldest finishers.
