• Elevation Gain: Marathon features approximately 3500ft of elevation gain.
• Challenging Sections: 1000ft of elevation gain occurs after mile 18.
• Scenic Reward: A 2.35-mile downhill stretch following the climb.
• Final Push: A relatively easy 2 miles to the finish after the descent.
