Kids on the Run 2025-2026

🏃‍♂️ Kids on the Run Series

A series of six, one-mile runs designed to build camaraderie and competition among the local elementary school (grades K - 5th) running clubs. Individual runners are also invited to participate. Child cannot be older than 11 years old to participate in this event.

💰 Entry Fee Options

1) Online Registration Option (includes all 6 races & 2 t-shirts): $35 + tax

You must register by Wed. Sept. 17 to receive the 2 t-shirts.

2) Schools/Running Club Registration Option:

Schools/ Running clubs will need to submit the attached Google spreadsheet with all the participants information filled in, no later than September 17th. This way we can get all the participants shirts ordered in time for packet pick up which will start on September 29th. Email the spreadsheet to: run.srm@gmail.com

3) Single Race Registration: Registration for ONE race only is $10 + tax at the race site, on race day from 4:30-5:15 PM. Registrations after 5:15 PM cannot be accepted. No t-shirts for this option.

• Medals: Will be presented to the Top 10 finishers at each run.
• End of Series Awards: 💵 Awards for Running Clubs with:
• Most Participants: To promote club size.
• Top 10 Finishers: Awards for Most Top 10 Boys and Girls Finishers.

📈 Results

• Post-Race Results: Results will be posted immediately after the race at: www.sportspectrumusa.com
• No Revisions: No revisions to results 24 hours after race is over.

• 2) Monday, Nov. 3rd - 5:30 p.m. at Lee Hedges Stadium - 6115 E. Kings Hwy, Host School: Judson Magnet Elementary School
• 3) Saturday, Dec. 6th - 10:00 a.m. at LSUS Recreational Field - One University Place, Host School: Fairfield Magnet Elementary School
• 4) Monday, Feb. 9th - 5:30 p.m. at Lee Hedges Stadium - 6115 E. Kings Hwy, Host School: Eden Gardens Magnet Elementary School

📦 Packet Pick-up

• Monday, Sept. 29 - Wednesday October 1: 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. at Sportspectrum: 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport
• Race Days: At the race site, 4:30 p.m.-until 15 minutes before the start of the race.
• Schools: Picking up for more than 10 runners should email list to: run.srm@gmail.com and give one day's notice before picking up the packets.

⚠️ IMPORTANT- Chip Timing

All races are chip-timed. Your child will receive one (1) bib for the entire series. That bib includes his/her chip. The number on the bib is assigned to your child only, throughout the series. Keep your bib throughout the year! If you have more than one child, write their names on their bibs. No bib = no results. Wrong bib = wrong results.
