• Purpose: A PAWSITIVE EVENT SUPPORTING A VERY WORTHY CAUSE!
• Organization: DOWN THE LEASH SERVICE DOGS is a 501(c)3 veteran ran non-profit.
• Check-in: Runner check-in and packet pick up will begin at 9 AM.
• Start Time: The event will begin at 10:30 AM with an opening ceremony.

🎶Activities

• Awards: Awards will be given immediately after the race.
• Entertainment: Live band and other family-friendly activities will follow the race.
• Rain Date: Saturday, October 18, 2025, in case of bad weather.
• Venue: Race will take place at Herrin Park located in Herrin, Illinois.

• Mission: More than just service dog training, it's a family for veterans and their families.
• Impact: Helped over 60 veterans and their families in three years of operation.
• Support: Funds raised will improve the lives of local veterans.
• Training Costs: The cost to train a service dog can exceed $20,000, which is not covered under VA benefits.
