11th Annual Umatilla Kiwanis 5K for the Kids

Event Overview

The 11th Annual Umatilla Kiwanis 5K for the Kids will take place on November 7, 2026, at 4 Cassady Street, Umatilla, FL. For more information, visit the race website.

Race Purpose

• Focus: UMATILLA SCHOOLS - Umatilla Elementary, Umatilla Middle, Umatilla High, Altoona Charter and SpringCreek.
• Funds: The Kiwanis Club raises funds to help support school projects and scholarships for graduating Seniors.
• Participation Fee: For current teachers signing up as a team, the fee is $15. Students can participate for $10.
• Community Engagement: Runners will get snacks after the race and have a chance to win several raffle prizes.

Race Details

• Start Time: November 7, 2026, at 7:30 A.M.
• Location: Cadwell Park and through beautiful Umatilla on our USATF Certified course FL19064TY.
• Activity: Get out there and run, walk, or dance through the streets of Umatilla!
• Certification: The Umatilla Kiwanis 5K is an USATF certified track!

• Community Support: Protect yourself, social distance, but still live your life to the fullest.
• Get Involved: Help us support various programs for kids.
• Scholarships: Kiwanis supports College Scholarships, back-to-school clothing, and more!

• Tracking: Use a free app like MapMyRun to keep track of your distance and send your finish details.
• Group Discounts: Businesses, clubs, schools, and adults can join as a group of five or more to receive a $10 discount by signing up early by the cutoff date of 10/24/2025.
• Sign Up Early: Early registration guarantees a shirt, swag bag, raffle prizes, and medals!
