Event Overview
The Plano Pacers 2024 Dog Days Relay 3x3K and Kids K will be held August 29th at 8AM at Windhaven Meadows Park.

Registration Information
- Relay Team Registration: Registration is available here.
- Online Submission: Teams are strongly encouraged to submit their entry data online in advance to avoid the race morning rush.
- Team Changes: Teams can be formed on race day, and changes can be made prior to 7:30am in the registration area.
- Fees: In-person guest registration is $20 on race day.
Kids K Information
The Kid's K is free and open to all kids. No need to register in advance. The Kids K should start at about 9:15-9:30 after the relay is completed.
Relay Race Rules
- Team Captains: Arrive before 7:30am to pick up your team Baton and declare which runners will run the 1st, 2nd and 3rd legs of the race.
- Team Formation: Teams can be formed on race day, and team changes can be made in the registration area prior to 7:30am.
- Teams of 2: May participate with 1 member running the first and last legs of the race.
- Age Categories: Will be based on the total of team participants' ages on race day.
Additional Relay Information
- Chip and Bib: You do not need your ankle chip or a bib this month. (The chip will be in your team baton.)
- Runner Positioning: The next runner in your group should stand near the starting line at the approximate time your runner is expected to arrive.
- Space Requirement: Those not running the next leg should stand about 10 meters away from the handoff zone to provide space for the runners doing handoffs.
Divisions and Age Groups for 2026 Relay
- Divisions: Female, Male, Coed (2 Females/1 Male, or 2 Males/1 Female), Family.
- Age Groups (Male/Female/Coed): < 80 years, 81 - 119, 120 - 149, 150 - 179, 180 +.
- Age Groups (Family): < 77 years, 78 - 98, 99 - 140, 141 - 179, 180 +.
- Subject to Change: Subject to minor change before August 1.
