11th Annual Chimpathon - Run/Walk 5K & 10K

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Date: Saturday, February 21st, 2025
• Location: Save the Chimps, 16891 Carole Noon Lane, Fort Pierce, FL
• Race Type: 11th Annual Chimpathon 5K/10K
• Course: Chip-timed, flat and fast, starting and finishing at the sanctuary

🐒 Unique Experience

• Opportunity: Runners and walkers can travel the perimeter of Save the Chimps
• Participants: Home to nearly 220 rescued chimpanzees
• Awards: Presented to top finishers
• Incentives: All participants receive a finisher's medal and performance shirt

🕖 Arrival Information

• Recommended Arrival: No later than 7:30 am
• Packet Pickup: Begins at 7:00 am, closes at 7:45 am
• Packet Collection: Participants are encouraged to collect their race packets in advance
• Note: No animals permitted as they may disturb the chimps

📦 Packet Pickup Details

• Thursday, 2/19: 12 pm-4 pm at Orange Theory Fitness, 884 SW St. Lucie W Blvd, Port St. Lucie, FL 34986
• Friday, 2/20: Time tbd at Walking Tree Brewery, 3209 Dodger Rd, Vero Beach, FL 32960
• Race Day: Packet pickup onsite from 7:00 am to 7:45 am
• Recommendation: We recommend picking up your packet in advance due to time constraints on race day
