🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

Support a community on a mission to help kids. The need is great with over 8,000 children in foster care in Arizona. We understand not everyone is able to foster or adopt, but we can all play a part in helping children and families in need. We are inviting you to join us in support of Arizona foster kids as we celebrate a morning of fun, fitness, and community.

👨‍👩‍👧 Participation Information

You can race, run, walk, or participate virtually. Invite friends to join you on a team or fly solo. We welcome participants of all ages and abilities. Every dollar raised serves children, youth and families whose lives have been impacted by foster care in Arizona. Together we can make a difference in the lives of children in need.

🌟 About Us

The Arizona KIDS Consortium is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization comprised of 20 licensing agencies contracted with the Department of Child Safety to serve foster and adoptive parents as they care for vulnerable children.

🎉 Pricing Information

Children ages 0-6 register for FREE and ages 7-17 register for only $15 for the 1 Mile distance! Prices reflected during registration. Note: Must be accompanied by parent/guardian on the course at all times.

📝 Registration Details

To register by mail please complete and return our Mail-in Registration Form. Mail-in registrations will be accepted until November 17, 2025. Can't make it to this year's event but still want to participate? We are excited to announce our Foster 5K Virtual Race. A virtual race can be run at any location. All virtual race participants will receive a custom event finisher's medal and custom event dri-fit tech t-shirt. Please note - your virtual packet will be mailed out the week following the event.

🚦 Race Day Information

Race Day Check In will be available beginning at 7:30 AM at Kiwanis Park. We accept cash or credit card on race day. Cost of registration on race day will be $50 for the 5K and $40 for the 1 Mile Fun Run. We welcome wheelchairs, strollers & wagons. No roller blades/skates, skateboards or motorized devices are allowed. Leashed pet friendly. This event will take place rain or shine. There are no refunds due to weather.
