Before you sit down to your Thanksgiving feast this year, work up an appetite with some heart healthy exercise at the 10th Annual Two Town Turkey Trot!
The streets of Lambertville, New Jersey and New Hope, Pennsylvania will fill with runners of all ages and skill levels, eager to kick off their Thanksgiving festivities with some fun physical activity for a good cause as the Greater Lambertville Chamber of Commerce holds the 5-kilometer Two Town Turkey Trot and 1-mile health walk. Starting and ending in downtown Lambertville, the course will take runners across the historic and charming Lambertville-New Hope Bridge, through the streets of bustling and festive downtown New Hope, back across the bridge and through Lambertville’s historic downtown business district. Runners will be electronically chip timed. Participants who pre-register will receive a commemorative race shirt. Shirts will be limited to the first 500 registered participants. Prizes will be awarded to the winners!
PLEASE BRING A NON-PERISHABLE FOOD ITEM FOR DONATION!
Proceeds from the event will support the Chamber's mission for supporting businesses in Lambertville and beyond, with a portion of proceeds and all donated non-perishable items supporting Fisherman’s Mark, a local non-profit organization that serves those in need throughout all of the Delaware River Towns communities. We are asking all runners to bring a non-perishable donation to the early bib pickup or the race. Additionally, a donation will be made to the "Erin McManus Keys Scholarship" for South Hunterdon Regional High School Students in honor of Erin, an impactful business leader, loved member of our community, and longtime sponsor of the Turkey Trot who tragically lost her battle with cancer this year.
