RICHLAND RUNFEST 2026

DISTANCES

• Available Distances: Half Marathon, 10K and 5K (both in person and virtual options)
• Medals: There will be a medal for each race (and they will fit together to make one big medal if you do all 3!!!)
• Registration Options: You can register for one in person option and then the other distances virtually or all 3 races virtually to obtain all three medals that will fit together to make one cool medal.
• Completion Timeline: Do all 3 races and you get 3 medals that go together to get one big medal--you have 3 weeks to complete the virtual options PRIOR to the in person race date and 1 week AFTER the in person race date and you get a discount.

DATES

• In Person Race: Saturday, February 28, 2026
• Virtual Race Window: Friday February 6, 2026 to Friday, March 6, 2026 at 11:59 pm.

TIMES

• Half Marathon Start Time: 8:30 am
• 10K and 5K Start Time: 8:45 am
• Course Closure: ALL race courses close at 12:30 PM.

WHERE

• Location: Richland, WA
• Start and Finish: Columbia Point Marina Park
• GPS Address: Use the address of 660 Columbia Point Drive, Richland WA 99354 for GPS directions.

• Training Plans: This year we have a running group and training plan (both beginner and intermediate/advanced) for ALL distances: the half marathon, 10K and 5K. See Facebook for details or see the running group and training plan section.

REGISTRATION

• Registration Fee: Various options based on the registration period and distance. Please see the full breakdown in the registration section on the race website.
• Entry Fees Include: A finisher medal, lightweight hoodie pullover shirt (for the half marathon only, 10K and 5K can purchase for additional cost), finish line treats (for the in person races), a surprise gift, and great company with our awesome volunteers and fellow runners (for the in person races).
• Shirt Cut-off Date: The cut off for shirts will be 2/6/2026.
• Packet Pickup: All runners (virtual and in person) will need to pick up their race packets at packet pickup. Virtual runners wanting their packets mailed will need to choose the additional mailing option at checkout!

PACKET PICKUP

• Date and Time: Packet Pickup will be on Friday February 27, 2026 from 3:30-6 pm.
• Location: The Lodge at Columbia Point, 530 Columbia Point Drive, Richland, WA 99352
• Race Day Pickup: Packet Pickup will be on race morning from 7:30-8:15 am ONLY for those coming from out of town.
• Virtual Pickup: For the virtual races, you MUST pick up your goodies at Packet Pickup as above or on Race Day.

AWARDS

• Type: ONLY FOR THE IN PERSON RACES (virtual has no awards - only the finisher medals)
• Awards Location: There will be an awards table to pick up your award at the race finish line (they will not be mailed out later).
• Categories: OVERALL top three female finishers for each distance and OVERALL top three male finishers for each distance.
• Age Group Awards: Various age groups from 14 and under to 80 and up.

FINISH LINE

• Health Guidelines: We will be following all health department and WA guidelines to have a safe in person race.
• Refreshments: There will be bottled water and lots of prepackaged foods for all finishers.
• Event Details: More Info as we get closer to race day.
• Coffee Truck: Last year we had a coffee truck and hope to have the same this year.

VOLUNTEERING

• Get Involved: PLEASE consider having your friends or family members volunteer for the race. The Volunteers make your race experience that much better.

CHARITIES

• Beneficiary: For every race entry, we will be donating $5 ($2.50 to Grace Collective/Atlas Freedom and $2.50 to the School Band Programs).
• Charity Work: Grace Collective is a nonprofit that offers hope and opportunity for lasting change to women survivors of trafficking, addiction, homelessness and poverty.
• Additional Donations: You can give additional donations, click on the donate at the top of the page or during registration.
• Sponsorship: Depending on how many sponsors we can get for the race, we will also be donating additional monies.
