The 2026 Big Cross Frozen Tundra

❄️ Race Overview

• Date: January 31, 2026
• Location: 3700 Rd 36, Pasco, WA
• Races: 2.5 Mile Run/Walk and NEW 5 Mile Run
• Open To: All, especially Tri-Cities area high schools' Cross Country and Track Teams

🏃 Race Format

• Start Time: Both races begin at 9:30am
• Participants: Up to 120 participants in each race
• Registration: Race bibs and giveaways available at the starting line at 9:00am
• Course: 2.5 miles on woodchip/dirt/gravel trails: 5-mile runners complete two circuits

👥 Teams

• Encouragement: Create unique team names and uniforms
• Scoring: First 5 team members will score for team results
• Bragging Rights: Team results will be published
• Spirit: Enhance the event atmosphere

👀 Spectators

• Viewing Areas: Designated spectator areas along the course
• Safety: Stay out of the start & finish areas
• Caution: Avoid crossing over the race path when runners are visible
• Support: Cheer on participants from the sidelines

• Opportunities: Help with set-up, course monitoring, or at the start/finish line
