A wintertime race to remember! There are two races to choose from: the 2.5 Mile Run/Walk and the 5 Mile Run. The Big Cross Frozen Tundra race is open to all, but we especially invite past, current, and future members of Tri-Cities area high schools' Cross Country and Track Teams. Represent your school and even create your own teams (i.e. Bulldogs of the 2000s, etc). During registration you will even have the chance to donate to and benefit your current local high school cross country program.
Participants in the 5-mile run will complete two circuits of the course.
We encourage participants to create teams and your own unique team uniforms to add to the atmosphere of the event. This is for camaraderie and adding to the spirit of the event only. Team scores will not be tracked.
Volunteers are needed: if interested in helping as a volunteer for set-up, course monitoring, or at the start/finish line please contact galveza@pasco-wa.gov.
All runners, spectators, and volunteers should stay home if sick.
This year all participants will receive race logo socks.
In-person registration is available at the Recreation Services offices in Pasco City Hall, 525 N. 3rd Ave., Pasco, until 4:00pm Thursday, January 29.
For more information, please visit the official race page at The Big Cross Frozen Tundra.
