🎉 Kappa Delta Shamrock 5k Run 2026

The Sigma Lambda chapter of Kappa Delta at Auburn University will host its 33rd Annual Shamrock 5k Run to raise money for Prevent Child Abuse America and to locally support Special Deliveries of Lee County. Kappa Delta will host its 5k run on Saturday, February 7th, 2026. The Shamrock Project is a national Kappa Delta program, that both collegian and alumnae support, to raise money for the national and local child abuse prevention organizations.

💲 Online Registration Prices and Details

• Student Registration: Registration fee = $15 (Does not include a t-shirt. Use code “student15” at checkout. Must show student ID at packet pick up.)
• Regular registration: Registration fee = $35 (All participants who register by January 18th will receive a complimentary runners t-shirt. T-shirts will be available at packet pickup on Friday, February 6 or at Race Day Check in on Saturday, February 7th.)
• Deadline: Online race registration closes February 3rd, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.
• Race Day Registration: You can register in person on race day for $60.

🏃‍♂️ Race Day Instructions

The run will be held on February 7th at the corner of W. Thach and Wire Road, near the Sigma Nu fraternity house. The run will begin promptly at 8 a.m. Please arrive between 7:00 a.m. to 7:45 a.m. to check in. Age group awards will occur prior to everyone crossing the finish line.

📦 Race Packet Pick Up

• Friday, February 6th: Packet pick-up from 2 – 6 p.m. at Leischuck Hall, The Village | Kappa Delta Chapter Room.
• Race Day: Packet Pick Up on Saturday, February 7th from 6:45-7:45 a.m. at the Starting line at the corner of Thatch and Wire Road.
• Note: All t-shirt orders must be picked up at one of the specified times. Orders will not be shipped.

🏅 Awards

Awards will be presented to the first-place male and female finishers in the following age groups:

• 14 & under
• 15-19
• 20-29
• 30-39
• 40-49
• 50-59
• 60 and up!
• Additionally, an award for the First Place Male and Female overall.
