Howdy, partner! Saddle up and get ready for the wildest race in Texas— the Rodeo Stampede! This ain’t your average foot race: it’s a full-blown adventure through the stunning parks and greenbelts of the Lone Star State. Whether you're a seasoned rodeo pro or just looking to kick up some dust, we’ve got a race distance that’ll fit your fancy. Choose from a speedy 1 mile, a thrilling 5K, a challenging quarter marathon, or a mighty half marathon.

Race Features

• Unique Medals: All finishers will receive a super cool Belt Buckle medal that doubles as a genuine belt buckle.
• Race Shirt: Participants will also score a custom Rodeo Stampede shirt that’s as comfy as a pair of old cowboy boots.
• Cowboy Costume Contest: Dress up as your finest cowboy or cowgirl for a chance to win awesome prizes.
• Live DJ: DJ Sasquatch will keep the energy high and the crowd dancing.

Awards and Recognition

• Trophies: Trophies will be handed out to the fastest overall male and female in each event.
• Age Group Awards: Age group awards will honor all stellar runners.

Join in all the festivities you have come to expect from a Bigfoot Running Company event. Awesome medals, cool Tee's, high energy staff, and live awards await. All finishers of all distances will receive a medal and shirt. Special pricing is available for youth participants and group entries.

Event Schedule

• 7:30-8:45 AM: Packet Pickup
• 8:50 AM: Costume Contest
• 8:55 AM: Kids Dash
• 9:00 AM: National Anthem and Race Start!

Volunteer Opportunities

• Race Support: Volunteers will receive a custom chip timed bib, super soft tee, and a finisher medal!
• Water Station: Cheer on runners while providing water cups at the station.
• Course Monitors: Ensure participant safety at critical points along the route.
• Bigfoot Mascot: Spread joy and cheer as our beloved mascot at the finish line!

Course Information

Bigfoot Running Company races are typically held at parks and green belts. We make every attempt to stay on paved trails but mixed course surfaces should be expected. You may run on pavement, crushed granite, and dirt paths.
