Howdy, partner! Saddle up and get ready for the wildest race in Oklahoma— the Rodeo Stampede! This ain’t your average foot race: it’s a full-blown adventure through the stunning parks and greenbelts of Oklahoma. Whether you're a seasoned rodeo pro or just looking to kick up some dust, we’ve got a race distance that’ll fit your fancy. Choose from a speedy 1 mile, a thrilling 5K, a challenging quarter marathon, or a mighty half marathon.
Celebration of Rodeo Style
- Swag: All finishers will receive a super cool Belt Buckle medal that doubles as a genuine belt buckle.
- T-Shirts: You’ll also score a custom Rodeo Stampede shirt that’s as comfy as a pair of old cowboy boots.
- Cowboy Costume Contest: Dress up as your finest cowboy or cowgirl for a chance to win an awesome costume award and a Bigfoot prize pack.
- Entertainment: DJ Sasquatch will be spinning the hottest hits to keep the crowd boot scootin' and the energy high.
Awards and Recognition
- Trophies: Trophies will be handed out to the fastest overall male and female in each event.
- Age Group Awards: We’ll have age group awards to honor all our stellar runners.
- Kids Dash: Little cowpokes aged 10 and under won’t want to miss our Kids Dash!
- Bigfoot Appearances: Bigfoot himself will be there for high fives and photo ops.
Race Distances Offered
- Kids Dash: For kids 10 and under, typically about a 50 meter dash.
- 1 Mile: Designed for all ages, this event includes a tee shirt and race medal.
- 5K: A chip-timed race featuring 1st overall trophies for male and female finishers.
- Quarter Marathon: A chip-timed 6.55 miles with 1st overall trophies for male and female finishers.
- Half Marathon: A chip-timed 13.1 miles with awards similar to the Quarter Marathon.
Volunteer Opportunities
- Volunteer then Run: Includes a custom chip-timed bib, super soft tee, and an awesome finisher medal.
- Full Race Volunteers: Earn a Bigfoot race shirt and VIP race access.
- Positions Available: Various roles including water station, course monitor, and finish line helper.
- Bigfoot Mascot: Wear the Bigfoot costume to cheer on participants and take photos.
Event Schedule
- 7:30-8:45am: Packet Pickup
- 8:50am: Costume Contest
- 8:55am: Kids Dash starts
- 9:00am: National Anthem and Race Start!

- Weather: Bigfoot races proceed rain, shine, hot or cold.
- Packet Pickup: Available for 1.5 hours before the event start time.
- Course Conditions: Expect a mix of paved trails and mixed course surfaces.
