Join the Southern Virginia University (SVU) community for the Annual Knight Run during Homecoming weekend.
Festivities
- Post-Race Celebration: Enjoy food trucks, music, and family activities for all to enjoy.
- Football Game: Cheer on the SVU Knights football team at 1:00 PM at Knight Stadium.
Schedule
- 8:00 AM: Volunteer & Staff Check-in and Briefing
- 8:30 AM: Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup Opens
- 9:15 AM: 5k Participants to the Starting Line / Welcome Remarks / National Anthem
- 9:30 AM: Knight Run 5k Starts
Kids' Activities
- 10:30 AM: Knights and Training Obstacle Course (for kids 3-10 years)
- 10:45 AM: Post-Race Awards Ceremony (Top Finishers, Age Groups, etc.)
- 10:30-1:00 PM: Alumni Tailgate with food trucks, live music, and yard games.
