About this race
Race Overview
The Deep Hollow Half Marathon & 5k is celebrating its 20th anniversary and is the premier trail race in the Liberty Mountain Trail Series. The Half Marathon is comprised of primarily single track trail intermixed with some forest roads. The 5K course is an out and back course on a forest road.

- DATE: Saturday, October 10, 2026
- LOCATION: Hydaway Outdoor Center
- DISTANCE: Half Marathon - 13.1 miles | 5K - 3.1 miles
Start Time and Packet Pickup
- START TIME: Half Marathon @ 8 A.M. | 5K @ 8:15 A.M.
- PACKET PICKUP:
- Friday, October 9 – LaHaye Rotunda from Noon-6 P.M.
- Saturday, October 10 - Hydaway Outdoor Center from 7:00 A.M.-7:45 A.M.
- T-SHIRT: Featured giveaway t-shirt is guaranteed before Oct 1st registration. A limited number of extra shirts will be available on a first-come basis at packet pickup.
Awards and Recognition
- AWARDS: Awards will be given to the top 3 male & female overall winners, top 3 male & female in each age group, and top male & female masters (>40 years of age) overall winners.
- FINISHER AWARDS: All finishers of the half-marathon will receive a finisher award.
- AWARD CRITERIA: Overall awards will be ranked by gun time, age group awards will be ranked on chip time.
- DOOR PRIZES: Door prizes will also be given out throughout the event.
Additional Information
LMTS FINISHER AWARDS: Awards will be given to all runners who participate in all 5 LMTS 2026-2027 races in April 2027 (Deep Hollow, Valley View, Reindeer Run, Arctic 5k, King of the Mountain).
