Deep Hollow Half Marathon & 5K Trail Race

Race Overview

Deep Hollow Half Marathon & 5k is the premier trail race in the Liberty Mountain Trail Series. The Half Marathon is comprised of primarily single track trail intermixed with some forest roads. The 5K course is an out and back course on a forest road.

• LOCATION: Hydaway Outdoor Center
• DISTANCE: Half Marathon - 13.1 miles | 5K - 3.1 miles

Start Times

• Half Marathon: 8 A.M.
• 5K: 8:15 A.M.

Packet Pickup

Packet pickup (info packet includes race shirt and bib) will be on Friday, October 9 – LaHaye Rotunda from Noon-6 P.M.

T-Shirt Information

The featured giveaway t-shirt is guaranteed before Oct 1st registration. A limited number of extra shirts will be available on a first-come basis at packet pickup.

Awards

• Overall Winners: Awards will be given to the top 3 male & female overall winners.
• Age Group Awards: Top 3 male & female in each age group.
• Masters Awards: Top male & female masters (>40 years of age) overall winners.
• Finisher Awards: All finishers of the half-marathon will receive a finisher award.

LMTS Finisher Awards

Awards will be given to all runners who participate in all 5 LMTS 2026-2027 races in April 2027 (Deep Hollow, Valley View, Reindeer Run, Arctic 5k, King of the Mountain).
