We are excited to bring the We ❤️ Teachers 5K to Charlotte! We can't wait to celebrate the teachers, staff & administrators of the Queen City!
👥 Community Involvement
- Participants: Educators & the community coming together to run, laugh, dance & appreciate good health.
- Options: You don't have to run - you can walk, watch, cheer, sponsor or volunteer!
- Fun: However you decide to participate, you’re going to have fun!
- Support: For the past 14 years, we have worked with teachers to improve their health and wellness.
🏞️ Location
The race will be held in beautiful McAlpine Park in Charlotte. If you can't make it, but still want to support the cause, sign up for the Virtual Race.
🏅 Awards and Participation
- Participants: All 5K participants receive T-shirts & Finisher Medals. T-shirts will be handed out after the race.
- Timing: Race will be chip timed.
- Award Categories: Overall Male and Female: Top 3 Male and Female - 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+: Top 3 overall Non-Binary participants.
- New Awards: Most School Spirit, Fastest Teacher, Team Champion, Legacy Award.
🎶 Event Highlights
There will be music, food and prizes. Form a team and COMPETE!
📅 Race Day Schedule
- 8:00-8:55: Registration/Packet Pickup
- 8:45: Opening Ceremony & Warm up
- 9:00: Race Start
- 9:45: Award Ceremony
- 9:00 -12:00: Race Celebration
