Race Overview

We are excited to bring the We ❤️ Teachers 5K to Charlotte! We can't wait to celebrate the teachers, staff & administrators of the Queen City!

Community Participation

• Activity Options: You don't have to run - you can walk, you can watch, you can cheer, you can sponsor and you can volunteer!
• Health Focus: For the past 14 years, we have worked with teachers to improve their health and wellness.
• Fun Guarantee: However you decide to participate, you're going to have fun!

Registration Details

Registration is available on race morning via QR code. Credit card or Debit card only. No cash or checks.

Race Location

The race will be held in beautiful McAlpine Park in Charlotte. If you can't make it, but still want to support the cause, sign up for the Virtual Race.

Participant Perks

• T-Shirts & Medals: All 5K participants receive T-shirts & Finisher Medals. T-shirts will be handed out after the race.
• Timing: Race will be chip timed.

Award Categories

• Overall Awards: Overall Male and Female.
• Age Brackets: Top 3 Male and Female - 14 & Under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
• Non-Binary Awards: Top 3 overall Non-Binary participants.

New Awards for This Year

1. Most School Spirit (School with highest participation)
2. Fastest Teacher (Male & Female)
3. Team Champion (Lowest average time - Minimum Team Size is 4 - form your team)
4. Legacy Award - Best Parent-Child Duo Time

Event Highlights

There will be music, food and prizes. Form a team and COMPETE!

Race Day Schedule

• 8:00-8:55: Registration/Packet Pickup
• 8:45: Opening Ceremony & Warm up
• 9:00: Race Start
• 9:45: Award Ceremony
• 9:00 - 12:00: Race Celebration
