Race for Relief 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Join us for the Inaugural Race for Relief 5K, and 1 Mile Fun Run! By walking or running the distance you choose you will be helping the victims of Western North Carolina affected by Hurricane Helene in September 2024.

🌪️ Event Purpose

• Impact: The storm resulted in unprecedented destruction impacting countless families, homes, and businesses.
• Assistance: Founded in response to the storm, Mountain Rescue NC has assisted 36,000 people with disaster response, long-term recovery, and community support.
• Goals: Together, we will continue to REACH communities, REMEMBER those who are no longer with us, and RAISE funds to continue our efforts to support WNC.

• Distance: Choose between a 5K run or a 1 Mile Fun Run.
