🎉 50th Annual Race for the Grasshopper 5K

At the close of the Battle of Cowpens in 1781, two American officers—confident in victory—raced for the ultimate prize, a British three-pounder cannon, called the “Grasshopper”.

📅 Date and Time

• Race Start: 8:30 AM on January 10th
• No Race Day Sign Up: No registration available on the day of the race
• Early Packet Pickup: Friday Jan 10th, 5 PM - 7 PM at Gotta Run Spartanburg
• Race Day Packet Pickup: Saturday Jan 10th, 7:00 AM - 8:15 AM at Cowpens Battlefield Office parking lot

• No Refunds or Deferrals: Weather can be an issue in January: some years we may have to reschedule for safety
