Race Overview

The RMHCNE Women':s Classic 5k Run and 3k Walk is a certified, flat, and fast 5k (3.1 miles) and 3k (1.8 miles) courses from the Brown University Stadium through the scenic and historic East Side of Providence.

Registration Information

• Online Registration: Available through Thursday, October 8.
• In-Person Registration: - Saturday, October 10: 8:30 am to 11:00 am
  - Sunday, October 11: 8:00 am to 9:30 am.

Registration Fees and Deadlines for 2026

• Early Bird Fee: $20 through April 1
• Standard Fee: $28 from April 1 through September 7
• Late Registration Fee: $34 from September 8 through October 8
• In-Person Late Fee: $40 from October 8 through October 11, plus $10 for students.

• 8:00 am: Race day registration opens

• 9:00 am – 12:00 pm: Health + Wellness Fair
• 10:00 am: Start of RMHCNE Women’s Classic 5K Run and 3K Walk

Race Number and Packet Pickup

SHIRTS AND GOODY BAGS to the first 400 participants to pick up their bib numbers.

• Sunday, October 11, 2026: Race Day from 8:00 am – 9:30 am at Brown University Stadium, 400 Elmgrove Avenue, Providence, Rhode Island 02906.

Team Competition + Individual Prizes

Team Competition

Teams must consist of 3 or more women. If more than 3 on a team, the top 3 aggregate gun times will count for scoring.

• First Place: $300
• Second Place: $200
• Third Place: $100

Individual Awards

Cash prizes to top 5 overall finishers in the 5k:

• 1st: $300
• 2nd: $200
• 3rd: $100
• 4th: $75
• 5th: $50
• 6th – 10th: Merchandise/gift certificates

Non-Binary Category Prizes

Prizes to the Top 3 Finishers in the 5k Non-Binary Category.

Age Group Prizes

• Groups 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60-69, 70–79, 80+ : - 1st: $50 - 2nd – 5th: Merchandise/gift certificates
• Age Group 19 and under: 1st – 5th: Merchandise/gift certificates
• Note: No double dipping with individual cash prizes.

Important Notes

PLEASE NO DOGS, STROLLERS 3K ONLY

Dogs will not be allowed on the course or in the gates of the track. Because of the large numbers, 5k participants will not be allowed to push strollers during the event. 3k walkers with strollers must start at the back of the starting area.
