175 STATE ROAD E, Westminster MA
Saturday, September 13th, 2025
We have the road race you’ve been training all year for! Come to Wachusett Brewery, Saturday, September 13th, 2025, to support Boston Children’s Hospital and run the Race for anyone!!! It's the 6th annual 0.0 road race.
This difficult course will have a convenient water stop on the way to the finish line. We will all make our way to the bar to re-hydrate and celebrate a race well run while enjoying a beer or two and some live music.
Although not mandatory, we strongly suggest sporting your best running attire or costume. There will be awards for race winners, best dressed, and cash prizes. Expect lots of music, an awesome raffle, and, most importantly, beers, food, friendship, and fun!
SHARE THIS EVENT ON FACEBOOK or Instagram TO BE AUTOMATICALLY ENTERED TO WIN A $100 WACHUSETT GIFT CARD.
Join us for the 6th Annual Wachusett Brew Yard 0.0 Road Race. This is a Boston Children':s Hospital Fundraiser. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Boston Children’s Hospital Pain Clinic, where the Race Director's daughter, Sadie Rose, has been a patient for more than 20 years.
After a very emotional day, I told Sadie’s Doctor I would raise One Million Dollars for Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) Pain Clinic for everything they have done and continue doing. So we created a race for every ability: the 0.0 Road Race held at the Wachusett Brew Yard. Our first year in 2018 was sold out, and again in 2019. Every year since, runners come by the hundreds to not run.
Our daughter, Sadie Rose, has been to the hospital over 500 times, including two ambulance rides and countless emergency room visits. Sadie has undergone various surgeries and treatments due to her chronic conditions.
A fund has been set up at BCH called the Pediatric Interventional Pain Service Fund. Every penny raised now goes directly to Sadie’s Doctor, Pradeep Dinakar at BCH Pain Clinic. 100% of our funds raised will go towards research under his direction.
Sadie finished her 5th year at Lesley University studying Art Therapy, which has helped her through tough days. She is interning in Vermont this summer as an Art Teacher. Our oldest daughter is a Licensed Social Worker and has worked at Boston Children's Hospital. It's safe to say that our family is all in for the Greatest Hospital around.
Sincerely,
Michael Doherty, Race Organizer and Sadie':s Dad
