Christmas Classic 5K and Fun Run

🎄 Event Overview

Join us this Christmas season at the Arab City Park Historical Village for the Christmas Classic 5K and Fun Run presented by Lifespring Baptist Church of Arab. The event will be timed but there will be no time limits, so join us whether you’re running for a personal best or if you’re just wanting to walk, hop, skip or dance along the course to enjoy all the sights and sounds of the Christmas season. Costumes and Christmas attire are welcome.

• Christmas Classic 5K: 5:00PM
• Christmas Classic Fun Run: Immediately following 5k completion
• Awards Ceremony: Immediately following the Fun Run
• Sign-Up Deadline: Please sign up by November 29th to guarantee a T-Shirt.

🏅 Special Highlights

• Chip Timing: Chip timed 5k by Fleet Feet
• Race Bib: Each participant will receive a race bib
• Night Course: Beautiful course ran at night
• Awards: Overall, masters and age group awards

🍪 Festival Fun

• T-Shirt: Christmas Classic T-Shirt available
• Celebration: Finish line celebration and festivities
• Refreshments: Includes Christmas cookies, hot chocolate, and more
• Entertainment: Christmas music and singing, along with beautiful park decorations

🚸 Younger Participants

The Fun Run will be for children 12 and under and will be approximately 0.6 mile. Adults can participate with children in the Fun Run for free. (T-Shirt not included, but can be purchased)

📍 Logistics

Packet pickup and late registration will be at Lifespring Baptist Church in Arab from 4:00PM to 7:00PM on Friday, December 12th and at the Arab City Park Historical Village from Noon until 4:45PM on race day. Note that this Christmas season the main entrance to Arab City Park is closed due to construction, and the only entrance will be from the South side, from Fry Gap Road. The address is City Park Drive NE, Arab, AL 35016.
